EyeQ Monitoring, a leading provider in video security solutions, announced today the completion of its acquisition of MDL autoMation.
MDL autoMation uses IoT and SaaS-based technologies for process improvement, automated customer recognition, vehicle tracking and monitoring, inventory management, and personalized customer service and sales.
The acquisition offers auto dealers a comprehensive new choice for integrated asset tracking and monitoring, facility security, and enhanced customer service solutions for their dealerships.
“We were introduced to MDL two years ago by a shared partner after the unfortunate passing of its founder and chief visionary, George Cresto,” EyeQ CEO Markus Scott said. “We have been privileged to get to know their team since and have continued to be amazed by the impact their solutions are having and their passion for their customers. We are excited to continue George’s legacy and to continue developing innovative solutions to help our customers multiply their eyes and ears now as a combined team.”
Integrating MDL’s current suite of software products for franchise dealers, which includes Service Drive Concierge, Bloodhound Zonal tracking, and Dispatch Master staff dispatching software, with EyeQ’s complete suite of security solutions will offer franchise dealers a complete platform of innovative – and industry-leading – software solutions.
“MDL is thrilled to become part of EyeQ. We have a shared mission of serving dealers with great software and customer service, and that makes this a winning combination for our customers, partners and team members,” said Ken Karegeannes, the president and CEO of MDL. “Our combined company will be a powerhouse in the market, offering dealers industry-leading software and security solutions, and most importantly, continuing to be dedicated to our industry leading customer support. We are excited about this new chapter for MDL and the industry.”
