EyeQ Monitoring Chairman and CEO Markus Scott was recently featured in Hypepotamus, a publication that covers tech and start-ups in the Southeast. The “Get to Know the CEO” piece delved into Scott’s background and journey to becoming a CEO and the value he has brought to the company in building it from a team of 15 to 140 and tripling business since 2021 alone.
Scott is focused on building the company’s core clients, which include automotive dealerships, commercial real estate buildings, and multifamily complexes. He also has his eye on AI and how it can add value for EyeQ clients: “AI will continue to drive efficiency in our business and we need to be on the leading edge,” Scott said. “But we fortunately work in a really sticky industry. Security continues to become a bigger issue, especially in down economies. We saw that in 2020 crime rates went up. We know in downtimes, our services are frankly more needed.
